This Veterans Day, the Lead Nursing Forward team would like to pay our respects to all who have served, and express our gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
Military nurses serve in several of the main branches of the military, providing direct patient care for servicemembers and their families and performing medical duties for wounded soldiers. While they have most of the same responsibilities found in traditional nursing, military nurses also undergo training to work in a military environment. They may work right alongside military personnel in dangerous war zone environments, as well as caring for current and past service members and their families during peacetime.

Our sincere thanks to all nurses who have served! Do you have a military nurse in your life? Help us celebrate and honor them today. Share their story with us at leadnursingforward@gmail.com.
