National Healthcare Quality Week (HQW) was held this year October 16 - 22. First established in 1985 by the National Association for Healthcare Quality, every third week of October is a dedicated time to acknowledge the progress made by healthcare and quality professionals toward improving patient outcomes and to prepare for the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
The N.A.H.Q.'s mission is to prepare a coordinated, competent workforce to lead and advance healthcare quality across the continuum of healthcare.
Find out more about healthcare quality competencies that are increasingly recognized and valued as essential to achieving quality, safety, equity, and value.
If you missed this year's event, you can explore complimentary webinars and save the date for next year's celebration, October 15-21, 2023.
