The Importance of Diversity

We are committed to developing nursing and nursing education workforces that better reflect the populations they care for and teach. On the Diversity page, we compiled recent statistics on racial, gender, and age diversity among US Registered Nurses and Nursing Faculty as compared to the general population, and highlighted efforts to improve diversity in these fields.

New Videos featuring Maryland Nurse Educators

In 2021, we released several new short clips featuring nurse educators from nursing programs and hospitals across the state of Maryland! We also teamed up with the Faculty Academy and Mentorship Initiative (FAMI) and the Lambda Eta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau to release a video on the value of Nursing Leadership within our communities.

Make Connections

The updated Career Portal allows you to search for jobs, events, organizations, and fellow users all in one place! Bookmark jobs or events you want to return to and access them on your profile page. Make connections with colleagues or potential employers and message them directly within the LNF site.

Stay tuned!
